Meet Our Teachers

 

YogaFlow teachers are certified at the 500 hour level and registered with Yoga Alliance. Each with their own unique style, they teach with compassion, honoring each student for their individuality in a non intimidating atmosphere. Read below to find out a little more about their unique talents!

Gail (Maheshwari) Robertiello, E-R.Y.T. 500, P.Y.T., (Professional Yoga Therapist)

Gail is the owner of YogaFlow, a Limited Liability Company providing various yoga services. She began her journey teaching group fitness classes, personal training and was co-owner of a women’s fitness center.  When she began practicing yoga she was amazed how she began to feel mentally as well as physically and instantly fell in love with the practice. Yoga brought together her love of exercise and dance integrating the two disciplines into a life altering practice. She holds a 1000 hour Professional Yoga Therapist/Teacher Certification with Integrative Yoga Therapy and is a Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher. Yoga has been her passion for over 15 years and her practice and teachings, her creative outlet, are completely guided from within. Taking classes, workshops and training programs she feels is an important part of personal growth and loves sharing her experiences with her students. She has studied with yoga teachers such as Erich Schiffmann, Dharma Mittra, John Friend, Seane Corn and Joseph La Page. When she discovered Ananda Ashram in Monroe, NY she connected deeply to Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati’s teachings. Joan Suval her spiritual teacher gave Gail her spiritual name Maheshwari, continues to inspire her meditation practice and life journey as well as Ma Bha and Bharati, meditation and Sanskrit teachers at the Ananda Ashram.  Gail is a member of the Yoga Society of New York, Ananda Ashram and IAYT International Association of Yoga Therapy. Besides teaching daily classes, workshops, retreats and private therapeutic yoga sessions she certifies yoga teachers at the 200 & 500 hour level in her YogaFlow Body & Mind Teacher Training Certification Programs registered with Yoga Alliance. She also offers Reiki Certifications Level 1, 2 & 3. Gail feels that each of her students in every class situation is special and unique and offers plenty of individual attention in a nurturing atmosphere. Her love for life and enthusiasm makes studying yoga with her both fun and educational while exploring your own spiritual journey.

Jaclyn (Niranjana) Susini - RYT 200,

Jaclyn has an extensive background in dance with ballet as her first love. She studied dance at the NJ School of Ballet performing with their Company in many productions. As a teenager Jaclyn began her yoga practice studying under her mother, Gail Robertiello, YogaFlow, and began taking workshops with teachers such as Dharma Mittra, Seane Corn and Erich Shiffmann. As her practice grew she discovered it was a perfect fit for her physically as well as spiritually. Jaclyn continues her spiritual journey under the guidance of Joan Suval who gave her sanskrit name, Niranjana, and follows the teachings of her Guru Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati. Jaclyn is in the process of obtaining her Bachelor of Science Degree as a registered nurse with aspirations to continue her studies obtaining her masters degree in Physician Assistant. Her classes range from dynamic flows to introspective moving meditations that accommodate a wide variety of students and levels. Jaclyns gentle spiritual nature allows her students the space to grow and deepen the practice both physically and spiritually.

Antonette (Vidyadhari) Redl  – RYT 200,

Antonette was first introduced to yoga while studying at Montclair State University, and graduated with a B.A. in Commercial Arts. After years of drifting in and out of yoga classes she began seeking various spiritual traditions to fulfill a void within. After an illness led her back to her mat she soon discovered yoga not only opened her physically but opened her heart to what she had been seeking all along. This lead her to deepen her own practice while learning how to teach classes and enrolled in YogaFlow Body and Mind Teacher Training.

Antonette brings all of these lessons enriched in spirituality into her teaching. Her classes are geared towards recognizing each ones individuality in a nurturing, non intimidating atmosphere. 

Paula Cincotta – RYT 200, RYT 500

Paula Cincotta, RYT is a certified yoga teacher, registered with Yoga Alliance. Paula's love of yoga began when she was 18 years old as she quickly realized that yoga brought balance to all aspects of her life in addition to the physical benefits it offers.  Yoga also fits easily into her patient, gentle, tree-hugging personality.  Paula feels most at home when on her yoga mat.  Her recent personal yoga path has taken her to develop her own meditation practice.  She is grateful for every student she is able to instruct, learn, experience and share the yogic way of life with.  She has been studying under Gail since 2003 and recently had the great privilege to complete her yoga teaching training at YogaFlow.  Paula also has her BA in Art History and a MA in Library Science. 

Michele Magnotta – RYT 200, RYT500

Michele is a graduate from The University of South Florida. She has a B. A. Degree in Interdisciplinary Social Science. Her main focus in college was sociology, psychology, and women studies.

Michele enjoyed taking fitness classes through the years but her main passion is yoga . Michele has been practicing yoga for 10 years. She was inspired to teach after her 40th birthday in 2008. She studied with Gail Robertiello of YogaFlow from 2008-2011 and completed her 500 hours of training.

Michele has taken a variety of workshops at the Ananda Ashram in Monroe, NY, studying chakras, koshas, and journaling.

Michele enjoys teaching a fun and creative Vinyasa Flow to children and adults. She has taught at various studios throughout New Jersey, as well as the Girl Scouts, football teams and peer development groups at the high school.

Christine (Kalavati) Vander Ploeg, RYT, 200, RYT 500, Reiki II

(Yoga Therapy)

Christine's yoga journey began in 1998 and became serious by 2001. In 2005 she realized how her own yoga practice improved her life and felt the desire to share it with others so pursued teacher training at YogaFlow Body & Mind. Christine has also participated in workshops with Dharma Mittra and teacher programs offered at Omega and Kripalu. She has been a moonlight teacher since 2005 at various studios, provided private sessions and corporate programs. Christine has recently completed her Bachelor of Science Degree at Lesley University in Psychology and Creativity with an emphasis in the healing arts including art therapy techniques, shamanic studies and expressive therapies. She has studied mandalas with Clair Goodwin, Sarah Tomlinson, soul painting through the chakras with Alex Grey and the Betty Edwards, “Drawing from the Right Side of the Brain.” Her interests in consciousness studies, drumming and gemstones have leaded her to the Michael Harner Foundation of Shamanic Studies, “The Way of the Shaman” with Nan Moss and David Corbin. She believes Creativity is the true expression of the soul and yoga is a pathway in developing, nurturing and aligning ones creative spirit in all aspects.
